Our 2017 season of day experiences in Ireland’s Ancient East runs from March through to December.
While most of our experiences are customised for families and small groups, we also offer a series of scheduled escorted experiences for couples and independent travellers. These day experiences operate from Dublin, Cashel (for the Rock of Cashel) and Limerick (convenient for Shannon Airport).
The minimum group size is six guests; we limit group size to twelve guests to preserve the intimacy of the experience.
For visitors stopping over in Cashel, this trip is the perfect half day experience inside one of Ireland’s oldest estates. Ornate gardens, an elegant manor house and hospitality all add up to a memorable experience.
Could this be Ireland’s oldest castle? When you are invited inside, listen to the owner’s stories and make your own mind up! A delightful afternoon tea usually features luscious lemon drizzle cake that you’ll remember forever.
Such a popular experience with our guests –it’s the sheer unexpectedness as you drive in the avenue. It’s a unique family home where you will hear stories of medieval murders and modern day living. Relaxed hospitality makes the visit very special.
Just a short drive from Limerick City, this is a delightful estate manor house layered with history and heritage. In every room, the owners share the family’s stories before adjourning to the dining room for afternoon tea. Magical!
This visit brings you inside an estate where stunning gardens run alongside one of Ireland’s longest rivers. Guests are then invited into the family home where impressive ancestral portraits will stir your curiosity about these famous (and some infamous!) ancestors.
